I am planning to and develop and teach a unit of work on animation to my year 8 students and am looking for an open source alternative to Flash. Just wondering what other schools use. Blender seems good but I don't need the added complexity of 3D....

yes also been teaching Cambridge ICT for 3 years - mixed results, This year very disapponting results - not sure about the validity of the marking scheme!

About Me:
Now I'm in my second year of teaching at Regent's School. I teach mostly 11-18 using a modified English National Curriculum for Year 7,8,9. Years 10 and 11 study for Cambridge IGCSE. We now use Cambridge also for the Applied ICT A level. I am fairly new to teaching ICT but previously taught EFL in Asia for 7 years. I'm a keen outdoor person - unfortunately not really compatible with a life in Bangkok !
