International School Technology Exchange Committee

Dear ISTEC members,

I have released an updated version of my web site at www.eschool.ac - Please take a look. You can access the Moodle IGCSE ICT section from the IGCSE page – If you want to go ahead and register then I'll confirm. Initially I only want to give teachers access (as a student) - but I will be open to suggestions as it develops ;-)

The course has been under development for three years and I am currently midway through updating to the 2010 CIE ICGCE ICT syllabus. I have completed up to section 5 so far to stay ahead of my current year 10 cohort.

Please also take a look at what ALISON has to offer at www.alison.com - Everything from touch typing to certified ICT Skills courses such as ABC IT. There are also courses on Health and Safety, Aids Awareness etc.
Alison is FREE for individual users and there is a reasonably priced learner group management option for schools, organisations, and businesses. It’s great for students and teachers Professional Development.

Have fun and please let me have some feedback.

See you all at the ISTEC meeting on October 27th.

Best regards,

Clive Roberts

Already sent this around the listserv ... so this is a backup.

Recently put a day aside to reflect (review) my own Personal Learning Network ... which is full of Web 2.0 tools.

The result can be seen at
