IntSchTech

International School Technology Exchange Committee

Instead of setting up a new discussion for each point, i will put them all in together:
- Remote Desktop, what is the best one out there and the cheapest. Heu campus. Anyone know where i can go to get more information about it, cost etc

Software resources for Primary. The ICT software for Primary school is few and far between. Any ideas of what to get? I know this is a broad question.

Social disscussion - to set up social events og genersl meet ups to build on networking, sharing knowledge etc.

Field trips: As of yet the school i am in do not run ICT field trips. Do other schools run ICT field trips for any of the year groups?

Discussion on the use of pedagogy in ICTteaching practices (primary and secondary).: In the school i am at they do not have tablet pc's, or even interactive whiteboards. We don't even have a wireless network yet. Where would i go to get more info on costing of these things, etc? What benefits will tablet pcs have for children etc.

How about a cross ICT school day where kids from loads of schools come together to do some sort of project work (GnT kids from primary and secondary).

What about setting up of a revision weekend where all schools are involved for Year 10, year 11 for ICT IGCSE?

Any thoughts or ideas on the above, do soem of the above actually happen? Please let me know what you think!
